Coil Over Help....
Well, as some of you know I have a D&D K Member, D&D A Arms, etc. I am ordering my coil over tonight along w/ the springs. This will get ran w/ Strange 10 way adj. shocks (front and rear). I just got off of the phone w/ D&D and they recommended me a 14" 175lb spring. How does this sound? This is a street/strip car but I want it to be comfortable... I would also like it to be atleast decent in its handling capabilities.... Im looking for an all around good spring w/ decent ride comfort. Does anyone have any experience with this spring and how it handles/performes at the track/ride comfort, etc? Any suggestions, etc. Thanks.

I have the D&D k member with the tubular arms. I have the QA1 14 inche 175 pound spring. Mine is my daily driver and it rides pretty good. Also I am on 3 1/2 inch Pro-Stars.

Yea, I basically told the guy that I wanted a good all around spring and that it wasnt a DD but it was definetly a street car and thats what he told me. Im just double checking because he just recommended it so fast, I barely got the words out of my mouth and he said "14" 175lb spring" so I just thought maybe he just recommends this spring to everyone you know. I just want to make sure, I have to wait until Monday now to order them anyway because I have to wait for my check to clear I did order my strange 10 way struts though
Anyone with any other suggestions?
sskiller... how does the ride compare to stock? How does your car handle in the turns? By no means am I a corner carver but I would like it to handle DECENT atleast, I mean Im putting like 3K into my suspension, I want a good setup lol

RE: Coil Over Help....
My car rides great. You have to remember the my car is really really rigid due to the cage. So compared to a stock fox.......it really isn't that bad. My car is set up to go straight. Howeve, tt turns okay. I live 40 minutes from Big Bear, CA....so mountain drives come a couple times a month.

RE: Coil Over Help....
Awsome, I also posted this somewhere else and someone commented that running that long of a spring I might have clearance issues with running bigger wheels... not sure what a spring would have to do with clearance issues though. Can someone explain this? I plan on running 17" Saleens (or possibly 18's but dont think so)
