Hey im having problems with my dipstick being pushed out and oil sputtering out onto the headers and burning when I tend to shift between 4000-5500rpms.Has anyone had this problem? Anyone know, how would you go about addtressing this?

pcv systemclogged maybe? i dont know hopefully someone else can answer better than that

Yea thats not an oil pressure problem, thats a bad PCV system. Make sure the valve isnt bunged up..(old school term lol) and check for pinches in the vacuum lines.

Definatly sounds like a PCV valve problem. Maybe eliminate it and go with breather.


While were on the topic. ( not to hijack the thread ) is it bad to run a PCV and a breather ?

Im thinking that I can go and maybe add a breather can they work simotaneously (sp?)?

Remove and replace your PCV valve and the mesh screen below it. If that doesn't fix it, you've got a dead cylinder. Do a compression test.
