I just got a pair of 185,61Cc AFR heads. which would the perfect cam
for these heads on stock 302/5.0L

Have you notched the pistons. Your probably going to bend the hell out of all your intake valves with any cam with those 2.02 valves. Those are high flowing heads and require a cam to match the power band. You could get a custom cam which would be made for your setup or you could get an off the shelf cam for the power band your looking for. No one can tell you what cam will be perfect for your setup.

What you think about the 165,61Cc pistons need to be notched? or same thing as 185s.

piston dont not need to be notched for 165's

since they were made to work together to YOUR wants and needs.
or just a custom cam from them with AFR 165's

Canfields flow better than AFR's for the same money.

pistons have to be notched....for the best cam i'll tell ya what after jay allen did my cam/springs my comp cams 544/544 224/232 cam was a chump compared to his...he knows what's the best,and i'll leave it at that
