Default New engine problems.

Build list,
302 block from latemodelrestoration bored .30 over
e303 cam, 1.6 rockers
comp heads, 2.02 valves
65mm throttle body

Everything else is stock except the bbk headers and bbk x-pipe and msd ignition.

So the problem is the temperature keeps spiking at idle and normal driving but while under WOT the temp drops to normal and we can't seem to time it right, we had it 10 degrees before and the car liked it only when you were WOT

Also would i have to gap the spark plugs any different from stock, and do i need to change anything in the fuel system or a maf for more air?

Still using the stock 19# injectors?

Do a koer test and see if you get any lean codes. My guess is your very lean.
