Here's how I check spark:
Get a probe (make sure that it has a pointy end)that has a wire attached and make sure it is long enough to reach a good ground on the car.
With themotor running, probe one of yourplug wire boots, if itthat wire isgetting spark the engine should start to hesitate because you are sending the spark else where. If it makes no change in how the motor is running you're not getting spark.
It'sthe quickest andeasiest way that I have found to test spark on each plug wire

i have the taurus fan too. i used to have it on a switch, then a controler, but i need a new temp sensor, so this is just temp.
ok. + to a switched source, and ground to what + or - post?
sorry i'm an idiot when it comes to electric stuff.
