Default PLEASE HELP.....Timing Cover!!!

Man, I've been working on this stinking thing for at least 4 hours. I've taken out all of the bolts (I'm positive) and the stupid thing won't budge. Its a little loose around the top and the right side, but the left side where it meets the oil pan isn't going anywhere soon. I have no idea how to get this off. I'm not really in any hurry, but its starting to seem impossible. Any ideas?

I've got those. I even took out 2 more down the oil pan to give a little slack.

+1

Take those out, the cover will come off as well.

EDIT: Maybe the RTV is holding it back? Double check to see that every bolt is out...you do have the balancer off right?

And it is on dowles(mine was), so you will have to tap it off nice and easy, don't pry on it.

nah, just dont angle the screwdriver into the block or cover. stick it straight down, and tap it. no worries.

I wouldn't do that...might cause issues later trying to seal it back up. The cover is SOFT aluminum and is easily marked up. This would be a last resort.

I would just tap it with a rubber mallet. You have your water pump on it still?
