Default EFI to Carb

Anyone know if it is possible to leave the EFI pump in the tank and just disconect the power to it when converting to a Carb with manual fuel pump. Will the EFI pump restrict the flow of fuel too much?

I removed mine. So I guessed yes that it would.I will deffinately restrict it some. May cause your pumps to not last as long. But I dunno' for sure.

I believe you can just get a regulator and use that with the EFI pump. I am not sure exactly, i am going to convert mine to run with a carb eventually because its so much easier to tune and be fast with.

u cant run a efi pump with a carb pump easily, it will end up costing more than just replacing the one with a carb pump anyway. i cant believe i just helped someone who is puttin a chevy 350 in a stang.

I dont think you can regulate the efi pump all the way down to 6-9 psi. What you needis a pump removal kit, or a Fuel Tank Insert, You can get one in Jegs part #467-GMTI7998.
