I had mine leak on me out the front where the spring is. Hard braking in the rear, soft braking in the front, but they don't go bad very often. What kind of problems are you having with your car?

ha problems is not the word for it.... car is about to go to the junk yard... let me sum it up real quick....

Car was fine... So like a dumbass i decided to upgrade ... 73MM Calipers.. Slotted rotors .. Stainless lines. I could not get a brake pedal . So i got a 93 Cobra M/C. Still no pedal.. Sent the car to another guys house that is suppose to be a tech. He had it for about a month. He dont know whats wrong with it. After he put another 93 MC on it... Im runnin out of ideas here. I figured next thing to try is replacing Proportioning valve.

This may sound stupid but if you still have your rubber hoses try swaping them over and take the stainless ones off. Those stainless hoses can be a PITA to get to not leak. They will form small leaks that are hard to see and will allow air in the system. Where in MD are you? I may be able to help one weekend.

north east. next to cecil dragway. yea my next idea here is to plug the master cyl. front and back and make sure that i have a pedal then to take 1 plug out and see if i get a pedal from just having like back brakes hooked up. then i would know my problem is in the front....

Huh thats kind of a haul. I would really try putting the rubber lines back on. I think it could really solve your problem. We had the same problem on my dads 97 convert gt with stainless lines.

That does suck, I always save my old parts because you never know when you might need them.

i've had them go bad on me twice (once on a lincoln, once on a firebird) They can go bad if your rear wheel cylinders fail and leak, I don't know all about the internals,of the valve but this pin pops out and blocks the fluid from the rear brakes so that all your fluid doesn't leak out and totally screw you. So , since its most common that it happens from rear brake problems, you'll notice hard braking from the front. Mine vibrated real bad when braking on the highway, and my front end dipped forward.
