well a stock mustang dynos at about 191rwhp so i would say that 235-240rwhp isn't that bad with out aftermarket heads. so fo rthe injectors... way over kill. your stock 19s will handle about 275- 300 rwhp and after that 24's will be just fine for about 350rwhp - which is well enough for any mustang with aftermarket HCI

ok well ford motorsports told me to run 30lb injectors. I would think ford knows what their talkin about but idn
Well whoever you talked to at Ford.....they didn't know what they were talking about. 30lbs are too big. Unless you decide to run nitrous or an FI setup.....I would buy the 24 lbers......plus your gas mileage will improve.

Maybe they didnt... This guy that i talked to said that with the setup i'm doing i'd need to go with 30lbcause he said i should be close around the 340-350 hp region and you don't wanna run the injectors up to the maximum hp there rated at and thats how he convinced me to buy 30lb inj. otherwise i was gonna run 24's like ya'll are all sayin. Idk but that kinda ticks me off if he was talkin out his @&&

Your stockheads are a big restriction. Just because the part mfg. adverstises a 20 hp gain with their part does not mean your going to get that. Also say you have 5 different bolt ons that claim a hp increase, does not mean your gonna get the total sum of that. All these parts work together to make the power. Matching the right combination of parts is what it's about. It sounds like your going in the right direction here, but I would drop down to the 24lb. injectors if this engine is going to stay normally aspirated.

I am running boost with a small shot of nitrous and only run 24 pounders. I have no problems with them yet, so 24lbs should be plenty for your set up. Chillerman is right, 10hp from one bolt and 10 from another doesn't hardly ever equal 20hp.

well i just thought about something. i already ordered and have the 30lb injectors that i ordered from blue oval industries and i'm sure i aint gonna be able to return them cause they are a electrical part. Now can i buy a regulator and get away with runnin the 30lbers. My plans for next winter is buildin a 347 stroker, bigger cam, etc........

I realize that all bolt ons will not be exactly the horsepower they say everytime. just like trick flow has a ad. with a gt40 intake, e cam, the wedge heads made 78 more hp and 54 ft. lbs more torque than the same engine with stock heads..... I know this doesn't apply to every app. and they probably fine tuned on it for a while. i'm just makin a statement when i'm talkin bout hp on bolt ons.
