Default Best Head Gasket Material

I know there have been a lot of posts even one from me about the best head gasket. I want to know whats the best head gasket material for a 5.0 with aluminum heads since theres a million different kinds? Also what bore head gasket is the best? With stock bore does it matter whether i get 4.100 or 4.010. How do you decide between them all?

I am trying to figure out the best head gasket to use,I knowI am not going to use cometic or lock wire ones eventhough the car is supercharged becauseI would need machine work done for the cometics or lock wires to seal correctly. SoI was looking at these two.

You'll be fine with fel-pro gaskets with your amount of boost. Personally I woulc go with cometic, but if I had to choose between the two you listed, I have always been partial to felpro.

Ok, i am only trying to stay away from cometic from more then a few people telling me the block and heads must be machined for the gasket to seal properly. So i was just wanting to make sure one of the two if not both would hold up for me and not be too harsh with the aluminum heads. I was leaning toward felpro as well. So either would hold up fine with arp studs on 9 to 10 psi?And wont have any isues with the aluminum head?

I'm actualyl running 10 PSI of boost of new Felpro gaskets myself, but I have iron heads. The gaskets should hold up even if the heads are aluminum. Just remember to torque them to specs.

I just used the gaskets that were one step down from the ones you used. Can't recall the exact ones but I think they were the 1011's...that number sounds right. I don't anticipate having any issues if I amtuned properly... Which I am hoping to tweak as soon as my freaking Tweever gets here...been waiting since feb 1st

As far as how many foot pouds you'll need.. not sure about that one. I used GT40 heads so mine was easy to look up.
