ok iwas lookin at http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...48120_-1_11225i wouldent have any problems with my drive shaft right like everything is the same with everything i have a 85 gt and i just got the money up for it i read everything just wanted to double check with someone that might have got one from them thanx

i actualy agree with u for once on a tranyn thread... u can get a stock replacement for 600ish and it's going to hold just as much power

new isn't any better than a profesonaly rebuild one from astroperformance, and junkyard trannys are only as good as the person rebuilding them

i was gonna get mine rebuilt but i no longer have it it was on the back of my truck and slid back knocked the tailgate dont and fell out and i diddent notice till i got to the trans shop just my luck

well if it fell out of the truck then the case isn't any good even if u had noticed... get a junk yard tranny and get it rebuild it's just as good as any other t-5 you'll buy.... but if you hearts set on a new one don't get it from jegs get it from DDperformance.com they sell them for 999
