Default roller rockers worth it?

I'm running the stock rocker arms right now.Are roller rockers worth $300 for the performance gains? Are thereany noticable gains to be had (I assume not)? Or should I save my money for something else?

I was looking at the FRPP ones on Summit, hell there's even a set on there for like $525. Well let me rephrase then, are they worth $150?

Roller rockers are good for about 10-15 hp. You can get a cold air intake for less than half the price that you quoted and see about the same performance.

if you go with a larger arm like a 1.7 it will give you more lift. Almost like swapping for a new cam w/o an increase in duration. Every little bit helps, and you should beable to find a good set of arms for less than 300 bux. Cobra Rockers- these will fit your stock application.

I don't need to increase my lift any more, it's already at .499/.510.

I think the 1.7's will hit the baffles on his valve covers. That's only if he has stock ones

yes they will free up hp, and if you get a higher ratio it will add lift, so yes it is worth it, but the best bang for the buck is a set of gears

Once again, I have no need for 1.7's, I don't want to increase my lift. Even if I did want them all that you have to do is remove the baffle. All that I want is your guys opinions on roller rockers and their noticable power gains, if there are any.

Here's my mods list for the hatchback:

-Custom Built Edge Racing 3000 rpm torque converter
-Baumann shift kit (and sonnex boost valve)
-TrickFlow Street Heat upper and lower intake manifolds
-TrickFlow Stage 1 Camshaft
-TrickFlow Valve Spring Upgrade Kit
-Ford Racing Hydraulic Roller Lifters
-Summit Racing Timing Chain and Gears
-Slightly Ported and Polished Stock Heads
-Summit Racing Adjustable Shift Light
-Kirban Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator
-BBK 70mm Throttle Body
-MAC cold air intake
-Pro-M 75mm MAF
-MAC 1 5/8" unequal length shorty headers
-MAC 2.5" off road h-pipe
-MAC 2.5" Flowpath catback with 3" tips
-MAC underdrive pullies
-MSD cap/rotor
-Taylor Spiro-Pro plug wires
-MSD Blaster TFI coil
-3.90 gears
-3 rowradiator
-B&M transmission cooler
-Summit upper/lower rear control arms
-Ford Racing "C" springs
-Hunsaker Vinyl Synkros in Black Vinyl (seats)
-Strange Engineering 10 way adjustable shocks and struts

I'm sure there's more, I can't remember it right now.
