Default My 82 gt acting funny HELP!!

Im fairly new to carburated motors but the other day out of the blue when i turned my car on it was like missing or sputtering when i rev it up. and when i drove it man, it smelled like raw fuel bad. It was like puf puf puf puf when i would accelarate. im thinking of checking the plugs first but if anybody is familiar with these symptoms please help. I just need it to survive a couple of weeks before i put my 306 in it.

sounds like the floats got stuck take a hammer and hit the bowls not hard you dont want to break them off lol then hold the peddle to the floor while cranking that should clear it out. see how that works

tap them hard enough to knock them loose but not hard enough to crack anything even a big screw driver will work
