Through the floor if you are running big HP and racing. Daily driver or weekend racing would only require standard, weld in, full length connectors, if that.
but through the floor looks so damn cool.

I'm getting the MM full lengths when ever I get some more money. I haven't heard very many bad things about them. I'm running blue oval industries subframes in my convertible though, they really stiffened things up. But I'm going to run full lengths in my hatchback just for ****s and giggles.

how much more of a process is installing through the floor subframe connectors? i've always like the sound of the idea simply because of the strength they offer but wasn't sure if they would be worth the hassle.

I would imagine you get the pleasure of removing your interior...cutting long narrow pieces of metal from the floor pan on each side...then you get to create approximately 24feet of welds to hold it all together...i would do it though...

when you weld the sub frames on, can it be done on a simple car lift at a shop or is it better to use a drive on ramp lift. i heard that if you weld on a shop lift your doors will not shut right because the frame is just hanging in the air. if you use a drive on lift the frame and suspesion is loaded and even . is that true.

Well.. I did mine when I had the new floors put in.. so it worked out well.

the in-floor ones are a lot more work, but DAMN are they strong

you have to do it on a 4 post lift, on the floor, or jack up the tires. Basically the car has to be stand as if it were not on a lift of any sort.
