Default How to put my 94 GT coupe on a diet?

I was wondering what i should do to drop the weight of my car. It is mostly stock except for my procharger that is on its way and the 1.7 rockers that are in it. I have heard 94 with a stock engine and a blower doing 10.90, but his car weighed 3000lbs. what suggestions do you have for lightening my beefy coupe?

one thing is get rid of all sound dappening, remove all insulation, lighther wheels, aluminum driveshaft, fiberglass replacement panels. tubualar K member, remove rear seat, remove AC and all its components. for my 88 i did the sound dappening, the insulation removal, rear seat delete, aluminum driveshaft, light wheels and my AC **** and it made a difference

if you can do without them, remove the rear seats, spare tire and jack, sound deadening mats over spare tire well, sound deadening material glued to interior floorboards (there's about 50 lbs of this stuff in there), AC compressor and hoses, etc. also smog pump. you can lose the power steering by replacing it with a manual rack and pinon system too. removing the front sway bar saves about 30 lbs.
the support member for the fog lites and lites will save another 30-40 lbs. and you can also remove the bumpers under the bumper covers too, about 40 lbs each. you can also replace the front seats with lighter weight racing seats too. and of course there are fiberglass body panels for just about the whole body if you want to get really serious about it.

I have a 94 gt and i kept everything on the car. I have smog pump,A/c,swaybar,seats everything. I know i could run a high 10 if i gutted everything and removed all those parts. I put on about 3k miles a year on my car. Except i have heads, driveshaft, intake that are aluminum. Pretty much everything else is stock. 94 gt motor's only put out 225 hp You will need more then a supercharger alone to run in the 10's
