Which drag radial would you pick in my situation...
So I've narrowed it down to two, the nitto 555r, and the BFGoodrich g-force T/A drag radial. I know everyone's going to ask why the MT's aren't on the list, it's because I'm running a 28 spline rear end and I don't wanna grenade my rear end just yet, they get a lot less mileage than those other two, and they're more expensive than the other two. I know that the 555r isn't the most dead hooking D/R out there(even less of a risk of blowing up my rear end or snapping an axle), but it does better in wet weather, and it gets the best mileage out of the two, and it's about 15 dollars cheaper(per tire) than the BFG's. A buddy of mine is running a set of the BFG's on his chevelle (modded 350 SBC with a 180 shot) and he absolutely loves them, he's even using the same set this season that he was last season. I've ridden in it while he has sprayed it (on the street) and there was barely any spinning going on at all. They're a little more expensive and they get a littleless mileage than the Nitto's. So now I'm stuck, trying to decide which one to pick. I'm leaning more towards the 555r's because they're an all around better street tire, but I like the BFG's because they hook better. What do you think guys?

I've ran both
I had the BFG's DR on my car first, I loved them, but they only lastedsixmonths.I am now currently running the Nitto DR's. I don't like the Nitto's I have no traction. I rather run BFG KDW's if I knew i wasn't going to have traction.

One more thing, a section of my drive home is on dirt roads for a few miles if that makes any difference.
The other thing that I like about the BFG's is that they are offered in a 255/50/16 and the Nitto is only offered in a 245/50/16. I also won't have to pay shipping if I decide to pick the BFG's (I can get them through mywork).

go for the hook why would you want an expensive tire that has no traction? i thought i saw a bunch real cheap on like tirediscount.com or discounttire.com. it was only 100 bucks for a M/T and i think hte bfgs were only like 80. check it out

I'll do some thinking and some more research. I'd like to keep this thread a live to get everyone's experienced input on this. I've still got subframes to weld in before I put the d/r's on so I have still got some time.
