Default Tranny question

So I was walking down the street, and I saw this...

No not really, but I was driving my mustang and it stopped shifting any higher than 2nd gear. It's an AOD tranny, which I know is a piece of crap but, I'm planning on selling the car soon, but I want to know if this is something worth fixing prior to selling the car or just sale as is. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem and the jackshaft was broken inside the transmission. Mine would shift from 1-2 but that was it. I had no problems with reverse or park. Does yours feel like when you are in 2 gear that when you get the RPM's at about 2500 does it fill like it is in neutral?
