There is a small whine noise coming from the engine (no, it doesn't have a turbo or supercharger). It's very noticeable at idle, especially low idle, and increases as far as i can tell while you rev the engine (until i can't hear it over the exhaust). I was thinking it was possibly bad water pump bearings, but i have no idea.

Eh, i checked for that when i heard the noise last night. There's no girl in the engine compartment.

spray each pulley with wd40 until the noise stops...that will tell you which one is bad

Try turning ur steering wheel at adle if the sound changes probably ur steering pump,could be low on fluid
