Default Flywheel to crank alignment?

Say I forgot to mark the flywheels orientation to the crank when I took it off. What is a different way to ensure the flywheel gets put back on the crank in the right position?

it only goes on one way.... dont force it. you can only try a certain number of times before youve gone all the way around

Theres gotta be a way to align that with the dampener cuse this is an externally balanced engine. but does the flywheel weight go with or against the dampener?

[sm=laughat.gif]Dont put it all the way together. Place the flywheel on the crank and turn it until all the holes line up its not that hard to do

Its a stock 302rotating assembly. So ur saying that the 6 bolt holes only line up one way? Cause they look all evenly spaced.
