so i put my new hood on that i bought in san fran its came out to about $200 and it looks terrible on my car the blacks are way off i guess since my car was garaged its whole life and the car it came off sat in the sun, its really faded i clayed it, cleaned it, and waxed it and it still isnt as dark as my car what should i do
should i repaint it or buff it ?

what kind of hood did you get, stock, cowl, cobra r?

normally you can primer it for now but i recommend taking it to a local body shop and ask what they'll charge you

buffing it will make is shiny but will not completely erase all of the fade...probably gonnna have to repaint it...black is tough to match...after you paint it..it will probably still look different than the rest of your car.

That's the thing about AZ/CA/etc cars...no rust anywhere, but the sun really beats down on em

i have 2 stocks hoods my hood that matches my car good has a rust spot on it and the hood i bought has no rust on it is faded

which one should i repaint my hood that came off my car or the one i just bought
