oil pressure gauge (oil sender)

I have a 94' cobra and was installing a volts and oil pressure gauge last night. Got everything hooked up besides the oil sender for the oul pressure. a new oil sender came with the gauge and is needed to replace the old one in the car in order for the gauge to work properly. The problem is that this new oil sender is much bigger, mostly wider, than the one in the car and will not fit becouse it is in such a tight spot![:@][:@][:@]

Yeah', I had to get a fitting for my aftermarket gauge sender also.

get a T fitting and put the stock sender in the straight end of it, and then rotate the T to a position that will allow you enough space to get the new sender in too.. Much easier, and keeps you from having dead guages... I couldn't stand to have dead guages...

RE: oil pressure gauge (oil sender)

I can't think right now if 5.0's have it or not, but i know that a 4.6 has a fitting where the oil filter bolts to the block that you can put a sender in...
