Default Some SLOW *** 1/4 times

I went to the track for my first time last night and it was fun but i suck.My very first run ever was like a 18.6, dont ask. I ran a couple more times but they were still hella slow 15.6 15.4 and 15.1. I am having serious traction problems. I have 3:73's and i cant barly touch the throttle or I burn out in first and second. What should I do to get some more traction? I know I need practice too. I dont have a million dollars to spend either.

5 spd or AOD? What kind of tires? and what was your 60ft time and your 1/4 mile trap speed? Your best bet is to get some drag radials.

Rear control arms (lowers if only one, but best to get uppers and lowers), springs, subframe connectors, and SLICKS.

His reaction time has no bearing on his 1/4 mile times.
