i have snapped many ranger axles in my ranger with a little 2.9 if you want to spend alittle money go with strang axles their products are the shi*t i put them in the front of my truck and with 38 inch tires i have went through one set and that was beating the sh*t outta them with 4.56 gears and a regeared t-case and i was talkin about the rear axles to its how you drive the car i mean you could run all day on stocks and not break em and then you get the kinda person i am like f it lets go and boom their goes one and go opps then again you can also put a 9 inch rear in it to i have seen people with 500 hp truck with 44 inch tall tires run them all day bouncin outta ruts like its nothin and not break its up to you jus my 2 cents once again mabey it was a little much lol
I think this definetly took the prize for longest sentence in MF history! Holy sh*t! I got half way through it and had to stop lol

With the auto stock axles are fine. Unless you already have the slicks I wouldn't buy them. I think drag radials will do better. If you want a good budget rear get a traction lock from an explorer or F150, it will be 31 spline. Then call Summit, Jegs or someone that carries them and get Moser c-clip axles. This will take alot more abuse than the stockers, but I don't think you will have any problems with them.
