GEARS
I know there have been alot of post recently about gears, sorry i am doing it again, but i am young and dont know to much about this stuff, I have a 95 mustang gt with AOD, and am thinkin 3:73 or 4:10 i dono yet, cant decide if the 4:10s are worth the extra money in gas and the parts. If i get new gears more like when i get new gears, i am gonna take it to the shop to have it done so id ont mess anything up, will they need to calibrate it or will it be fine? i am sure they will kown what they need to know i would just like to hear from everyone in case i do decide to do it my self. Thanks and sorry i am posting about this agian.

RE: GEARS
You can pick up a gear install kit when you get your gears. I would also recommend getting your gears from Gene Evans Ford. They almost always have the best prices. I believe the site is www.gefracing.com.
With a haevy auto like yours, I would definetely go with 4.10s, unless you plan on going forced induction in the future. In that case, go with 3.73s.

RE: GEARS
I bought my 4.30's from mustangtuning.com and they were $200 bucks shipped to my door with the bearing kit and installtion kit. The bearing kit actually includes the installation kit which was like $85 bucks for the whole kit. Gears I think alone were like $134.99. Okay so it was just over 200 bucks. Don't get so picky.

RE: GEARS
so if i take it to a shop, do i have to get a gear install kit, or can they use the same one over and over agian, once again i dont konw what a gear install kit contains so this might be a stupid question, but i am kinda dumb with sum of this stuff. and i have heard it is a good idea to get a differental rebuild kit to, should i do this right away or have them look at it and decide from there?
Thanks Brad
