was wondering if thats all i had to take the mechanic to have them install it... or should i buy some other crap to take there so they dont charge 2x as much for it.. thx for the help in advance guys

Yeah, the mechanic is most likely going to recommend putting bearings and seal in it also, so either get them now or have them charge you for it. It's a good idea nayhow, I did it. You can get a rebuild kit pretty cheap taht includes all the shims and bearing, yet the mechanic should do this anyway as you're putting a different gear set in anyway because the original shims won't be the right ones.
