Yeah I heard its possible, possible and possibly you could make a profit if you sell your Automatic trans and buy a cheap man

possible? yes.
worthwhile? probably not.

You're going to spend more doing that than trading in your car for the same year with a manual transmission more than likely.

Will the gears make your engine take a beating?
Which gears are better, 3.73 or 4.10 for my stock 92.

transgo shift kit, pro billet servo, tranny cooler, stall, deep tranny pan, one piece input shaft, larger drums inside but these past few items dont worry about to much unless your hardcore

and go with 410s

I think it depends on what type of person you are. I think T5's are good because you get an extra gear & they keep you occupied. I like auto though because in a race It shifted faster & shift kits are cool if you are in the mood for them. Another good thing is most people in 5 spds have to nail the gas to break the tires loose in 2nd gear. Mine broke loose everytime it shifted, whether I was barely on the gas, cruising, or at WOT. + Burnouts rule in auto's. I am swapping back to my T5 though when the engine gets back together. They both are/can be good trannys. They both have their fun & good sides. I would say go for the swap, even if you don't like it you will learn how to do it & you can say you've done it. My neighbor went through 19 trannys in his 89 GT. He went through 18 various autos & 1 T5. He is the only person I know that has f*cked up a C6. I'm not sure how you could manage this feat.

you want to make sure you atleast got a B servo if not get aleast a B. A is best from ford but the billet is the way to go. this helps when you valve body is modified to run in OD as 4th gear. it will have better clamping strenght.
