Default 140 speedo in 87 notch hard?

heyi currently got a 87 notch back with the 85 speedo gotta do the 140 speedo this weekend is it hard or what i made shure i got the right oine that fits so what should i expect a hard job or no

Getting to it, no room, and getting the white plastic piece disconnected, pita, I had to go from behind the dash to disconnect mine.

if the cluster/ speedos not out of an 89 then you owe some one a lot of money
89 is the only year that fits without modifictian

yep.... it can be a pain, but I like my 85 speedo. Poor thing... Except I need to stop being lazy and get the right gears for my cable. I run 4.30 gears and that needle is beyond buried. It says 85 when Im doing about 55. lololol

Yes they are different. If you look in the 5.0resto catalog they sell replacements for years 87-89 and another for 90-93.
