Default Torque box reinforcements in today!

Well, I finally got some time to work on the car today. Went smooth for the most part. The lowers were a breeze, took about an hour for both sides.
The uppers, well that was another story. Took out the upper control arms, the cat back off too. (needed more room to drill) That was about another 3 hours Also found out I need new bushings in the rear where the uppers attatch to the housing. And to top it off, now there's some annoying squeak in the suspension on the right side. I guess when I do the bushings I'll look into that then. Here's some pics from today!!
Empty lower box from underneath

Had to scrape off the sound deadening material inside and remove the plactic body plug....

Lower in place ready for drilling.....

Cleaned up the holes before laying down the inside plate....

Inside plate in place w/ bolts.....

Veiw from underneath, lowers are done....

Uppers..... I slacked on the pics cuz I was having my *** kicked and forgot to take pics of the plates from under the car

Upper control arm removed...

The plate bolted down inside the car....

Pretty much it, cleaned everything up, put the seat back in and DONE!!!!

I locked the other thread cuz it is now in the tech article section. This one is open for w/e questions/comments you may have.

I didn't weld mine either...I looked at my welder, then at the car and said **** on it...It will be fine and a lot less work.

Where did you get yours from?
