you will be better off with a 351w. If you want some good advise on what to do. Call Pro Mustang Performance and ask for Keith. They have a Toll Free number, and he's a great guy. 1-877-718-4603. I got all my information on my 351w swap from him. If money truely isnt an object, Keith will have you pulling 10's!

you gota remember that there as altoa weight when you put a 460 into a fox body, thats a heavy engine. If you really wanna make power take a 351 and stroke it to a 408 or 427 that will really make some power, but with anything you put in the car thats making alot of power your gonna have to put a fair amount into the suspension and what not to hold that because the fox bodies will twist.

subframes are a must and mine has a full rollcage, it needs it, especially cuz a the t tops. Probably a completely beefed up rear axle control arms torque boxes, a new tranny, track bar wouldnt hurt.

If money isnt a problem for your family then take it to a professional shop and tell them what you want and they will know what to do. By the way, if your family is loaded then why are you driving an 86 LX you should be rollin an 03-04 Cobra.
