ya the 427 rat rods there one hell of an engine and thats what it is a 402ci.just woundering how long would a 427ci stroker on a 351w last then i was thinking of a 351w running a t-turbo with about 8.0:1,8.5:1 c/p which do u think would do the best a 427 or t-turbo 351w or theres the 408 all motor and i kno the 351w is a good motor and easily gains out of it ive watch r.barns project go from the 5.0 to the 351w making 470hp on all motor

If you never built a 427 windsor, you may be in for a surprise depending on the camshaft choice, anything over 4.00 inch crank in a windsor, particular attention needs to be paid to the rods getting up into the camshaft tunnel.

Put a cummins turbo diesel in it dude...those are mad cheap at the junkyard and are suppose to make serious power when ya turn up the boost. Hell you could toss a jet engine in the hatch and call it good too.
