Most not all 3.73 motorsport gears will reuse the same shims. It is always a good idea to double check it though. You will need 3 qts of axle fluid and 4oz of limited slip additive. I am running 75-90 full synthetic in mine. But then again its always better to use factory recommended lubricant viscosity.

While you have it apart, might as well put new bearing in the carrier and on the new pinion, because most of the time the pinion bearing is a bitch to get off... The kit is anywhere from 75-100 bucks for the install kit... Motive Gear makes a good kit, comes with shims, new ring gear bolts, seals, bearings, etc... Nice kit for the money because if you buy bearing and everything, it will cost you more in the long run... Good luck
