This is theugliest part of my car. The front end sits low, and has taken a lot of abuse. Can this be fixed? If not, how can I replace the bumper without spending $600? Any chance of finding an exact replacement that needs no painting?

sure , hope and prayer. your prob. not gonna find the exact color bumper in good shape for under 600. just get a stalker nose. paint it flat black and save for paint.if you get a jkyard nose youll be money ahead. either way i dont think that can be fixed.

Thanks man. I guess I'll keep looking out for a good deal. The cheapest I've found so far has been a junkyard bumper for $250. I guess Imay go aftermarket if I'm gonna have to paint it anyway.

Not painted... But new... And better material.... It will hold paint better than the yellow plastic....

yea u def wouldnt wanna fix that, you could but it will just end up cracking again, you can find an aftermarket gt bumper from brothers i think for 190? dnt quote me on that though. It would probably be between 250 and 350 to have it painted depending on the color.

that cant be reapired permanetly, the material itself is fading away internally.

id get a used bumper, shell blast it if in bad shape and repaint car. shop around bud $250 is way too much

Yeah, I kept up the lie for a good long time but I knew you guys would start catching on.

Point taken on having it repaired--not a good idea. I'll just keep an eye out for a replacement. The zip ties are holding up pretty well for now; but it's a little embarrassing at work, parking next to big-butt BMWs and Ferraris! When I park right out front of my building, I always back into the spot, trying to hide the front end; meanwhile, all the other cars are facing the opposite way.
