You will probably take him easily since it is pretty heavy, but I wouldn't put money down considering it has like 50 more horsepower than your car does. I mean I know they are supposed to run mid 15s, but never know might suprise you.

Dont be so sure. Itll be a drivers race. Sure your car has the potential for 14's, but can you drive it that well?

you should win. i never raced one, but i did race a mid to late nineties caddy sts northstar, and i beat it by a car length from a dig to about 70. that was with my 89 gt 5 speed cai, headers, and x pipe with 2.73's. good luck man!

Be careful as said before they are cobra motor and they come with descent gears as an option (3.73?) but a lot of them have lots of miles. I was looking at Thunderbirds and Mark VIII's for a time, and there are a few things you can do to them. Just race him and lose by a little just to see what he's got then, if you think you can win, go for money.
