piston markings ?????????????????
[i] was looking into the cylinder with a boroscope and saw some markings on the pistons that looked like 'E77a' or very close to that. anyone have some clue as to what these pistons might be??? I remember my 91 said trw on them... e77? stock fomoco's?[/align]

not sure. the guy I bought the car from told me that it was a 306, and im just not so sure now after seeing those markings along with the oe style 4 valve reliefs in them.

the question is......... does anyone know what these pistons were oe in.... if they even are... just trying to figure out what this engine is without taking the heads off first.... im fixing to put a set of performer rpms on it and was just seeing if anyone was familiar with this particular piston stamping.
