they are pretty decent upgrade but they are new at 500 tell him 300 and a cookie. one thing with those heads you need to get different headers unless you modify your existing ones for hte plug holes

valves are liek 184 and 154

just hte P heads you have to modify or get new headers. the plugs are redesigned so they angle is different. all other heads use normal headers

Save your money for a better set of afr's, I have them on my car with a TF street and a DSS 306 not very happy thought it would be better.

If you are set on getting a decent head for not much money, go pick up a new set of GT40 non-P heads from AutoZone. They are around $500 and you don't have to get new headers with the non-P head design. Just my $.02

I had them on my 87 GT....back in the mid 90's...I had GT 40 Head, and GT-40 upper and lower intake....The gains are ok...but not what i was really hoping for either...If those heads are used...I would tell him 200-250...if he says no...I wouldn't loose any sleep over it.
