its a safety issue, just by some new lowering springs, your car will be lowered and handle better

If you cut ur springs you could possibly cut to much so be careful!!!! Also if u do cut them do not use a torch, the heat could **** the springs up and you would need new one, use a saw of some sort. New springs are pretty cheap, y not just buy a new set and not deal with the hassle or headach?

It will make the car handle like crap if its a progressive spring. I really don't think the stock ones arethough. Your car will still probably feel a little loose after you do it but I won't make it dangerous to drive.
