i got a 1990 ford mustang convertible 5.0
and the exetior color is white with black trim but the interior has red with black trim? i never seen a mustang with red and black interior with a oxford white paint job? i was just wondering if it's sometime special ordered? got a pic if you guys would like to see it i can't post it due to it not being saved to the hard drive.

Not sure. Check the door tag, it should tell you if it's a special order (forget how, but it's online somewhere). If you don't have a door tag, it was probably repainted

I have an 89 that had the red w/black trim interior when I got it and the car was red, so it's very possible that it was repainted.

I wouldnt think thats rare at all.
Most white Mustangs had a red interior and just about every Mustang had some black trim.

Mine is dark red (wild strawberry) with a light gray interior with black trim and a partially black dash.

nahh, i don't think so because underneath the white paint is primer? i know this because my brother in law accidently hit the passenger door with his car and i had to repaint the door..
let me know if there's a website to find out if they even came out with the color.. i know i've seen a identical mustang as mine it was the same way 3 different color schemes? but i haven't seen many tho
