Hey All,

I have a 92 with an interior that's in really rough shape. I've been picking up parts on ebay to fix the console, steering wheel and interior trim. The only issue I have now is finding a nice replacement for my old grey leather seats (the driver seat is automatic). The only thing available online is aftermarket upholstered seats and used leather ones - but niether of these options work for me. Can I install seats from the newer mustangs? Or can I buy other leather seats that will fit the Fox body?

you can Install any mustang seat from 1979 to 2004 so upgrade to some new cobra seats!! haha

back Im not 100 percent sure but I dont think it will since fox seats fold down and such

I know of a few guys who have put 03-04 cobra seats in their fox bodies. It is a direct replacement and a very quick jumper wire to get the seat to move for the driver side. I am not sure about the back seats though. I think some of them just had the back seats recovered in the same material as the new seats. That would be my suggestion...

edit: There is one guy who did a complete swap between a 2004 Cobra and a 1993 LX stang. He did the entire interior, seats, dash, all of it and also did the entire drivetrain swap as well. Let me see if I can find pictures or a website.

yes, the back seats have been done also. Check out this site for detailed instructions onswapping every piece froman 03 cobra completely into a fox body.

also you can use escort gt seats, direct bolt up and much more comfortable
