Cool, I am good to go. Picked up both spindles today. I noticed some people said that they noticed a spongy pedal with this conversion. PJB-Did you have to do anything with your master cylinder or brake booster for this swap?

I havent actually done the swap yet due to the weather but I dont plan on touching the master cylinder.
For a rear drum setup its not required to do anything to it.

Theyll bolt up.
I believe '87- atleast '95 struts are the same.

Why would summit have 2 different part numbers for the strange struts then? One part number if I enter 1989 mustang and a different one if I choose 94 mustang. Is the dampening different, or the mounting? I sent summit an email asking the same question. Hopefully I will get a response soon. I thought they were the same also, until I checked part numbers.

I am not sure, but if I have understood what has been said so far, yes you would have to upgrade to 87-93 struts at the same time you upgraded to 94-95 spindles. My question is will the 94-95 struts work on the 84-86? If your getting the spindles it should be cheap enough to grab the struts too.
