Your opinion on this 5.0 stang i might buy.

I looked at the car tonight with a flashlight. Everything looks great except for the paint is a little faded. He has 7000$ worth of receipts from parts from summitracing. Motor has 4000 miles on it, body 100k, Transmission 4000, same with clutch, rear end has the same as well. The only thing i don't get is i've never heard of gt40 iron heads only alluminum. He took me for a test drive clutch doesn't slip we tested that with it it 5th and he stomped it. It's pretty quick i'm willing to bet faster than my buddys ls1 camaro. Just curious what yalls opinion is i'm gonna try to get it for 3700$

Well good thing is it was in a lighted parking lot at food lion. I'm going tomorrow with a second friend and have him drive it during the day.

Well i looked under the car and in the engine bay, maybe i should compression test it first, the Rear end looks like it is indeed new. Engine as well havent looked at the transmission but he told me he's selling it to build another car. He daily drives it to work i'm gonna get a buddy to check it out tomorrow.

I'm not really worried about the paint it's gonna be mostly a track/ leisure vehicle i'm gonna eventually get it painted again it is faded.
The windshield does have about a 8 inch crack in it. Doesn't leak.
