Default Removing smog pump and A/C

Ok here is what I got. I want to remove the smog pump, A/C, and add underdrive pulleys to my 83 Mustang 5.0. Question is do I have to go back with a smog pump and A/C eliminator bracket and pulley or can remove them all together? And what will the underdrive pulleys do for me?

take out both systems completely and plug all holes (on the back of the cylinder heads and midpipe)
buy the bracket from ford that relocates the power streering pump to where the A/C is
Underdrive pullies will slow down your accessories, you see in increase in about 5 hp from them, maybe more
this diagram should help

Just a sidenote to that image, if your running a sn-95 the 70.5" belt will bypass the AC and Smog...
