I think the main problem with nitrous is it is only good for a few runs down the strip before you have to stop and refill. With turbo or blower you can spend all day having fun with the power and only have to stop at a cornor gas station to refill your tank. You never see the guys with turbos or superchagers pulling over and climbing in the turnk to turn their power on when they want to use it. If you are building your car for strip use only than nitrous is a good way to go, but if you plan on using the power at any time than you might be looking at the wrong way to go. I did read the article about the 500hp NA motor, but the guy who did it was a full time engine builder and he put alot of work in it. If you can find a shop that can do that for you than to hell with blower/turbo/nitrous.

Yes, it did. With tons of suspension work on a dart block with BIG *** HEADS and a custom grind from Jay Allen. Hes over on another forum.

i like the supercharger becuase for me the power is always there. I dont have to fill the bottle all the time. It doesnt cost fifty dollars here fifty dollars when its empty. Plus also i love the sound of the whine of a supercharger

I know what you mean. I like superchargers. They have a lot of pluses. Hell, I want one. But, you can build up a 302 N/A enough to where it cant tolerate the amount of power it is making enough to stay together. So why bother with forced induction. Besides that you can just bolt it on.
