Battery light on after 2000 rpm

I have a 94 mustang gt 5speed with underdrive pulleys for 3years no problem with alt but i replaced it 5 times already returned them for warrenty and a new interstate battery well the battery light comes on at about 2000rpm and goesoff below that so i got a battery and alt just because they havnt been replaced since i had the car then for the next 2 to 3 weeks the light is out then one day it comes on again and i tested it and its the alt not charging and it keeps happeningthey are new alts with lifetime warrenty anyone else have this problem? can someone help me please the alts are new golds from federated

its charges until it hits 2000 rpm then stops charging

ihave the same car and mine did this, but mine was a faulty ground wire, from the battery. and that fixed my problem.

I want to say its the alt? But the battery should hold up for a good hour if the alt dies. maybe its both?

Or faulty wire? Somewhere.

If they are new and not reman ones..I'd check all your grounds......once I had to get 3 alts in a row from utozone cause for one reason or another they would crap out after a short while..I finally bought a new one and all was good
