Default Clutch Gone? (Help!)

So I figured since the roads were dry and it was sunny today, I would drive the Mustang to work. I got in and started to go and was wondering why it really wasn't moving then I hear this click and it starts to go.

I drove it around the block to try and figure out what was going on. It looks like the pedal is going down and then goes back up but doesn't engage all the way. After a few seconds you hear a click and then the car seems to be in gear. I am hoping this is an easy fix and I don't need a whole new clutch.

I am pretty sure that if I push in the clutch pedal and let off that the car would not die. I am guessing that is a bad sign.

Any ideas?

I am hoping it's just that. The clutch pedal does seem loose.

same on the clutch cable, at least try to adjust it first, then go from there.

I lifted up the pedal with my foot and then pushed it back down, and it was still the same.

Maybe the stock plastic quadrant is going out, or maybe it is hanging up. It will click sometimes.

What clutch cable would you recommend?

Looks like I got my clutch working again. I still am giong to get it replaced. I just kept messing with it, pushing it in and out and pulling up on it.
