No start now a start
Well as you may know Mon my car would not start. Stoped while driving, pulled over and it fired right back up. Drive another 1 mile or so, ducked into store and came back out, no start. Turns over, can hear fuel pump pressure up. Looked, no spark. Well inmy lazyness and lack of time to deal with I had shop take it and look at it. Well it has been starting for then, no problems. No rain, no moisture issues, weather decent.
Arrrg, now it is working just fine.

If it starts for them and runs with no problems... tell them to let it run for awhile to let it heat up. I've seen similar symptoms with a bad ignition control module. At least you know it's a spark issue. Just check the dizzy / Hall effect / PIP and work your way through the system to check other things like plugs, wires, coil, ICM. Shouldn't be too hard to track down.

you from cincy hugh, me too , were you at the bowling alley this week
anyhow, YOUR SPECIFIC SYMTOM indicates the connectors on the coil pack wire harness are loose and corroded with green/ white stuff. Get a new pigtail auto zone.
If it comes down to it, dont bother with that module, replace the whole dizzy, the hall effect will mess with your brains like no other

he is telling you to replace the entire distributor rather than mess with the Hall Effect Sensor. Maybe it's just me, but I'd check the smaller cheaper stuff first.

The ignition module is cheap and easy to replace. And its a common failure on the fox mustang. You dont see the TFI module fail as often in SN-95 stangs because Ford got smart and moved it away from the motor, where the module was heating up too much. It also now has a heatsink attached to it, which helps keep it cool.
158,xxx miles and my STOCK module is still doing just fine. Replace the TFI module and thank me later!

this is one of the reasons why I always recommend NOT listening to AODE06

I dont know if you have been to the shopping store lately , but these bastardz have figured out we need that module and at the stealership, its $95 , or $40 local parts store for a JOE BLOW ONE in 90 days.
If he needs the PIP thats another $60 stealership or $36 parts store for a joe blow me in 90 days.
If the dizzy has shaft play or internal issues, he just waisted all that.
A new distributor WITH THE PIP, AND IGNITION MODULE, tested to run properly is only $78, now why would a redneck wanna waste more money that he has to?
Im not a gambling man when it comes down to my car cutting off in traffic, paying a tow bill or getting rear ended in cincinnati, ohio the place of the world's worst drivers
I did ask him to check the pigtail on the coil pack first and I used the search feature, not an educated guess to just replace the whole dizzy.
I like how these little gops test fine hot and cold, but really be bad, im gonna finish my bowl of cereal its getting soggy[:'(]
