i say junkyard and get the gt40 heads and intake for 200 dollars. that will give u a lot more than 25 hp. than get a small cam, e303 b303 or trick flow stage 1 or steeda 19. and u will be touching 300 wheel.

start saving for heads, junkyard gt40s with explorer intake and a cam will give your car a little get up and go. if you dont wanna go that way you can always save for some aluminum heads. if anything ebay is your friend, start searching.

how is that when people can't even do it with the tf top end kit? i mean i still don't understand some of the systems people use when determining horsepower ratings. i mean i had people telling me my set up would barely touch 280 and then i had some tell me that i would making about 350 with stock heads. i just don't understand.

Four degrees may give you 5 hp...that's if it's at 10* now. If it's now at 6* (like mine was) you may gain 10-15 hp by advancing it 4*. Itshouldn't affect your gas mileage; if anything it may improve it.

The only problem with that plan is that mustang guys pick over V8 explorer and mountaineers insanely fast...believe me, personal experience. If you can find a complete one its a great idea, though! I had a V8 mountaineer plopped right in front of me, got the upper and lower intake manis, came back the next day to get the heads and they were gone...I was angry .

Car is running now. Timing was not great now that I have driven it. It is now at 10 degrees and I can feel a good diff in the pull out of the gears.

spray it man! but no if ur not up for that, heads would be a good idea, or just do the rest of your bolt ons, i.e tb, mass air meter... etc
