distributor question

Default distributor question

i need to get a distributor for an 88 5.0. I was looking at MSD. 1) are they good. 2) is there anything else out there that is cheaper?

Keep the stocker. You won't see any gain by replacing it w/ an MSD. Spend the money somewhere else.

the problem is that the stock distrubutor doesnt work.

Replace the TFI and other parts or buy a used dizzy. A lot of racers rebuild Motorcraft dizzy's instead of buying MSD b/c they're much more reliable.
