I took off the AC and smog crap on mine, but its a conv. so I won't miss the AC so much. The 351 will make up for that. I wouldn't think the value would be hurt too bad though, maybe whoever buys it will want it that way if you're lucky.

I think it would if you are not making the car into a full on racer. I own a convertible, and I still wouldn't buy a car without AC, at the same price as one with. But then some people don't car. I wouldn't think it would drop the value more then a couple hundred though. And if you keep all the stuff you could just put it back on if you decide to sell it. You would just need to get it recharged.

Depends who is buying the car. If someone has plans on making it into a crazy street/strip car or a strictly drag car than obviously they will not care. But if you have a collector or something who is looking for a car than I would guess it would make a difference. Everything can be put back on, just keep everything and dont cut the AC lines or anything like that. I must ask though, why are you removing it? Weight?

'87+ t top cars are pretty rare.
Its your car so as long as you plan on keeping it a while do whatever you want to do to it.

My car has ac and I think it works or atleast did when I got the car so Im just going to keep it on. I might even throw a retrofit r134a kit on it this summer since r12 is really expensive.
