i'm buying new wheels and tires for my 91 GT and was wondering which size wheel is better the 17x9 or 18x9. any suggestions

As long as they don't rub... 18's are a big wheel for a fox... The fenderwells are really designed for a 15 or 16 inch wheel, so 17's look big on them as it is... Good luck in your decision, but i'd go 17's

id say 17x8 in the front w/ like a 245/45/r17 and 17x9 in the rear w/ a 255 or 265/45/r17 to eliminate rub. i have 17x9 all around w/ a 255/40/r17 tire and it rubs when the wheel is turned all the way. unless you want to get bumb stops.
