Default Take A Look Stop Block Cracking

http://www.bright.net/~hpsales/sounds/Don%20Garlits.wmv they are at most shops and ebay.

I noticed this on TV this week, dont know anything about them, so do yell if this is a repost

Lets you rev up to 8,000 rpm

Prevents The block From Splitting In Half

Elongates The Life of Head Gaskets

Frees Up Horsepower By Not Letting the Block Twist, Resulting in Reduced Friction, net 10hp

If I missed something let me know. They go for like $250 -$300 , I think pretty neat for blowed, nitrous and stroked motors wanting to rev without much worry. Id actually weld mine in place and use bottom girdles as well.

its not true. ive head those things in my hands and they are garbage. the bolts that hold the ends down are so thin its rediculous. plus, because the 3 mounting points are so far apart the motor car still twish causing it to split. your lower intake manifold will do a better job of holding the block together then those things will

bummer dude, so this is a waste of $$$?

thought since it was popular it would work, I noticed the thin tabs, thats why i thought of welding em in. the same as the bolt in control arm supports, welding em in as well.

Well guess the alternative stands as it is,expensive aftermarket block[&o]

I think you'll really have fun trying to
weld them to the block.
The block is a casting and those parts
appear to be drawn steel...........
